This event celebrates the University’s motto Servire, meaning “to serve.” Sunday, April 7, 2013 10:00 a.m. Mendenhall Student Center Great Rooms East Carolina University This year, for the second year in a row, the ECU Ambassadors would liketo invite members from your organization to participate in our campuswide service opportunity. The objective of this event is to uniteorganizations representing various activities and beliefs on campus forone common goal, to serve the Greenville and Pitt County community.Although our main prerogative is to complete several service activities,we would also like to give each of you the opportunity to present themission and goals of your organization, in order to promote unitybetween the multiple organizations on campus. Schedule: 10:00 a.m. - Meet in Mendenhall Room 15, icebreaker, discuss schedule for the day, organization presentations, light refreshments 12:00 p.m. - Breakout into groups for service activities 2:00 p.m. - Reconvene at Mendenhall Room 15 for group discussion and thanks Projects: Project One: Campus Beautification, participants will go throughout campus cleaning up trash and working with Campus Facilities in a campus clean up Project Two: Craft Day at Golden Living Center, participants will create crafts with the senior citizen population and facilitate other activities planned by staff Please Note: each organization is asked to send five representatives.
