CANCELLED!

Dear Class of 1984:

It is my pleasure to welcome you back to campus for your 25th Reunion! I hope you’ll be able to join your fellow classmates and the East Carolina Alumni Association during Homecoming 2009: 100 Years of Treasured Traditions, as we celebrate this milestone. We’ve got a weekend full of fun activities, including the Homecoming Luncheon, Classroom Experiences, tours of campus, the Alumni Awards Ceremony and Dinner, Alumni Breakfast, parade watching, a reunion photo, Alumni Tailgate, Pirates Football, and a special “’80s Flashback” party for you and your fellow classmates with DJ Jeff Diamond.

If you have not been back to campus often in the 25 years since your graduation, I especially invite you to come and see what East Carolina has become. ECU currently offers 104 bachelor’s degree programs, 73 master’s degree programs, 18 doctoral degree programs, and first-professional degree programs in medicine and dentistry. From modest beginnings as a school for training teachers, ECU has grown to become an emerging national research university with an enrollment of nearly 28,000 students and continues to fulfill its mission of teaching, research, and service.

Congratulations on this milestone achievement! I look forward to seeing you this fall.

GO PIRATES!

Paul J. Clifford, Charter Life Member
President and CEO
East Carolina Alumni Association
