Freshmen Programs


We look forward each year to welcoming new Pirates to East Carolina. Some of the ways we welcome the new class include Freshmen Sendoffs that take place over the summer in different regions throughout North Carolina and the surrounding states. To kick-off the year, the Alumni Association hosts Walk the Plank for an introduction to traditions, songs and cheers and a celebration to start your time at ECU.
