| | Kyle Shane Bowen Alumni Association Scholarship Recipient Kyle Shane Bowen is a junior industrial distribution and logistics major and business administration minor from Chesapeake, VA. Kyle is a platoon sergeant in ECU’s Army ROTC program, a member of the champion ECU Ranger Challenge Brigade team, and participated in the Air Assault School. He has been recognized with the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry Award, the Military Excellence Award, and the Army ROTC Scholarship. In ECU’s Army ROTC program Kyle has previously been a squad leader, team leader, and mentor. He is also involved with ECU’s Road Warriors, Running Club, and served on SGA as a hall representative. Lyndsey is a three-time recipient of the Alumni Scholarship, is president of ECU Ambassadors, is a teacher assistant for ECU’s Department of Interior Design, past secretary of East Carolina Friends, and is a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and ECU’s chapter of the American Society for Interior Designers. She received the Celia Moh Scholarship for interior design, was recognized as a College of Human Ecology Outstanding Student, and received an honorable mention for Elite Pirate. Tiffany is a two-time recipient of the Alumni Scholarship, president and founder of the ECU Running Club, recipient of the Princeton University Lewis-Sigler Genomic Institute Summer Research Fellowship, recipient of the National Institute of Health Neuroscience Research Internship, and member of the Brody Early Assurance Program. She is an EC Scholar, member of the National Honor Society of Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honor Society, Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Society, Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society, Golden Key International Honor Society, and vice president of the International Honor Society of Phi Theta Kappa. Tiffany organized and coordinated the Run for Uganda to increase awareness and raise money for Uganda orphans, initiated the Hope Lodge Musical Banquet for cancer patients, and spearheaded the Planting Seeds of Kindness project at the Walter B. Jones Alcohol and Drug Abuse Treatment Center. She has been recognized on the Dean's List.
