for Alumni Membership
As faculty and staff members, you have a special and unique relationship with East Carolina. You have helped guide many of our alumni into today’s business and community leaders. Your connection with ECU and the impact you have on our students is significant, long lasting, and often the reason our alumni have a deep passion for OUR school. Today, we invite you to stay connected with those students and to show YOUR Pirate Pride through membership in the East Carolina Alumni Association. We have made this easier than ever and are excited to offer payroll deduction as a way for you to support the Alumni Association.
Membership supports the programs and services of the Alumni Association, including events and activities, communications, alumni and faculty awards, and student scholarships. Alumni Association members enjoy member pricing on most events, communications like EC Alumni magazine and ECUpdate monthly e-newsletter, as well as discounts on goods and services you and your family use most.
All memberships are tax-deductible and there are many levels of membership to suit your needs and your budget. To take advantage of payroll deduction for your Alumni Association membership, follow these simple steps:
- Log in to ECU Onestop and click the “Tools” tab
- Click the “Payroll Deduction” link under the Employee Section
- Choose the East Carolina Alumni Association Payroll Deduction form from the dropdown menu
- Select a plan
- Input your personal information
- Read and accept the agreement
- Submit for processing

| | During our twenty years at East Carolina University, Susan and I have come to know and appreciate the good works of the East Carolina Alumni Association. We were born and educated in the mid-west and had another long career at Mississippi State University. It is with the seasoned test of time and experience that we say the East Carolina Alumni Association is among the most passionate and committed group of supporters that we have known.
Our son Nicholas graduated from ECU’s College of Technology and Computer Science in 2004. We could think of no finer Christmas gift to give him than a lifetime membership in the Alumni Association. This gift is more than just a tie to this outstanding University; it serves as a bond of pride between a proud Pirate and his institutional home.
Susan and I are also annual members of the Alumni Association. We invite you to join us and support the organization that ties the past to the present with the future in mind.
