We, the members of the East Carolina University Ambassadors, come together for the purpose of promoting ECU through our voluntary services. Our mission is to represent the devotion of every East Carolina University student, staff, faculty, and alumni through our determination and enthusiasm concerning academics and community service. As the official student representatives of our campus we pledge our loyalty in assisting the Alumni Association, the Chancellor, the Office of Admissions, the Department of Athletics, and our surrounding community.

The Student Alumni Group, the Ambassadors, was founded in the fall of 1980 for the purpose of serving as a link between students, alumni, faculty and the administration of East Carolina University. Since their existence the Ambassadors have been recognized for their hard work, spirit, and dedication.
