Former Chancellor and 2008 Honorary Alumni Award recipient Dr. Richard Eakin will lead a discussion about the challenging period of East Carolina’s history associated with the flood of 1999. Alumni, students, faculty, staff, and community members are invited to take this opportunity to commemorate Hurricane Floyd, the character and integrity that led the University through the episode, and reflect on ECU’s perseverance during a time of disaster.
