Share an adventure with the Wright Brothers at the North Carolina Transportation Museum! Dr. Larry Tise, author of Conquering The Sky: The Secret Flights of the Wright Brothers at Kitty Hawk (Palgrave MacMillan), will take you back in time to the making of aviation history. Enjoy a lively discussion of Tise’s knowledge of the Wright Brothers and their quest for flight as well as an exhibit designed by Tise titled “A World Aloft.” Many other transportation-inspired exhibits will be on display for you to enjoy, which can be viewed through a guided tour of portions of the Museum. Games and puzzles about the Wright Brothers and aviation history will be available for children.
The North Carolina Transportation Museum is the museum that moves you! Explore exhibits of antique locomotives, rail cars, automobiles and more.
