NY Metro Service Project: An Afternoon at KEEN
Get together with fellow NY Metro Pirates for an afternoon at KEEN (Kids Enjoying Exercise Now) during Service Month. Make a difference in a child’s life by playing games, getting some exercise, and having a great time with the special children of the KEEN program.

KEEN is a national, nonprofit volunteer-led organization that provides one-to-one recreational opportunities for children and young adults with developmental and physical disabilities at no cost to their families and caregivers. KEEN's mission is to foster the self-esteem, confidence, skills and talents of itsathletes through non-competitive activities, allowing young people facing even the most significant challenges to meet their individual goals.
The nearest transit location for the Recreation Center is at Lexington-3rd Avenues-51st St. (6, E, V).
Please wear comfortable PURPLE and GOLD attire to show your Pirate Pride! All are welcome to volunteer, so bring a friend to enjoy the fun.
