Harnett County Service Project


                                 
It’s Service Month at the East Carolina Alumni Association! In honor of ECU’s motto Servire, meaning “to serve,” lend a helping hand in Harnett County this April and make a difference in the community. ECU alumni and friends are asked to donate non-perishable, non-expired food items to Grace Chapel’s food donation program throughout the month of April, then participate in a service project on May 7 to collect, sort, and package donated items.

"Paint it Purple" Collection and Sorting Social Event

For the past five years, Grace Chapel has collected and distributed all donated items to local Harnett County students and families in need. On average, 300 families are helped during each disbursement.
