The kickoff event will feature Dr. Elliot Engel, a scholar, performer, and storyteller whose infection enthusiasm and radiant wit create an imaginative and delightful presentation. He will focus on “A Light History of the English Language.”
Attendees will have an opportunity to explore the exciting program offerings, which begin this summer and swing into high gear in fall 2011. Summer program activities include:

- Pilobulus and More
- Art Appreciation Tour of the North Carolina Museum of Art
