East Carolina University now offers a Lifelong Learning Program for those age 50+ with no admission requirements, no grades, and no exams! Broaden your horizon and meet new people by participating in this unique learning experience. Learn more about the program at a kickoff event.

The kickoff event will feature Dr. Elliot Engel, a scholar, performer, and storyteller whose infection enthusiasm and radiant wit create an imaginative and delightful presentation. He will focus on “A Light History of the English Language.”

Attendees will have an opportunity to explore the exciting program offerings, which begin this summer and swing into high gear in fall 2011. Summer program activities include:

  • Satori in Rocky Mount: Jack Kerouac’s Carolina Road
  • Pilobulus and More
  • Art Appreciation Tour of the North Carolina Museum of Art
