Houston Area Service Project—Food for Seniors
Service for Meals on Wheels

 
April is service month at the East Carolina Alumni Association! Help make it a success by participating in Houston’s service project, Food for Seniors through Meals on Wheels. Join fellow Pirates and make a difference in your community, take time to serve others in need.

Each Meals on Wheels route has approximately 6-8 seniors and generally takes 1-2 hours to complete. Volunteers must pick up their route information prior to Thursday, April 17 at the Interfaith Ministries office located at 3217 Montrose Boulevard in Houston between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. The Houston Food Bank is organized by Interfaith Ministries, an organization that brings together members of all different faith communities in Houston.

Photos of the volunteer group will be taken for marketing
purposes so please wear your best PURPLE and GOLD!
