Learn More About the ECU Alumni Association

Membership is free and open to all graduates of our beloved alma mater. We work diligently to ensure that Pirate traditions, events and experiences are available for future alumni by raising support for the ECU Alumni Association Fund.

The ECU Alumni Association is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The ECU Alumni Association is always searching for dedicated alumni to serve on its Board of Directors. If you know an alumnus/a whose professional expertise and achievements can help move the alumni association and university forward, please submit the nomination form below.

Nominations are accepted year-round and board terms begin in July of the year of appointment. To be considered for the upcoming year, nominations should be received no later than January 15.

Nominations are received, reviewed and presented to the Recruitment and Retention committee. The Recruitment and Retention committee presents a final slate of candidates each year for election at the spring (April/May) board meeting. The alumni board of director elects candidates to serve up to two consecutive three year terms.
