Wow, Pirates! What an Impact You Had!

Our inaugural ECU Alumni Days of Service (April 18-23, 2024) had far-reaching impact as Pirate alumni across the country celebrated our legacy of service! We thank you for making this first year a HUGE success, but more than that, we thank you for unselfishly giving of your time to help others within your community.

» ECUAA Board Members packed 4330 lbs. of apples and sweet potatoes at the Central & ENC Food Bank

» The ECU Community donated 426 suits and other interview attire to the ECU Professionally Purple Closet

» Pirates donated 220 lbs. of food to the Williams-Ross Purple Pantry to help combat food insecurity on ECU's campus

» Crystal Coast Alumni Chapter packed 1002 backpacks for local school aged children experiencing food disparity

» Tampa Alumni Chapter prepared and served 180 meals to area homeless with Feeding Tampa Bay

» Charleston Alumni Chapter picked up 2 bags of litter from Folly Beach

» University Advancement made lunch and assembled ragdoll bunnies for 50 individuals staying at the Ronald McDonald House of Eastern North Carolina

» Charlotte Alumni Chapter served dinner to 35 individuals staying at the Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte

» Pirates climbed 470,400 stairs and raised $3200 to support ECU military affiliated programs and scholarships at Storm the Stadium held at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium

» ECU Alumni Scholars made 320 meals (lunch and dinner) for area homeless at Joy Soup Kitchen

» Dallas Alumni Chapter assembled 1400 meal boxes for hungry children with the Children’s Hunger Fund

» Denver Alumni Chapter prepared and served 100 meals to neighbors at Urban Peak

» ECU Alumni removed 11 yards of branches, leaves and invasive species and spread 2 yards of mulch in the FROGGS Shade Garden on the Greenville Greenway

» Wilmington Alumni Chapter beautified outdoor spaces by weeding and planting bushes in 3 large garden beds at the Harrelson Center

» OBX Alumni Chapter distributed water, Gatorade and encouragement to more than 500 Flying Pirate Marathon participants.
